Our Story

We’ve shared over a decade of adventures- some big, some quiet, and all full of love. From emergency calls and Disney trips to dog chaos and late-night Lowes runs, here’s a little glimpse into how we got from a first date to forever.

Meet Our Wedding Party

We’re so lucky to have the best family and friends by our side.These are the people who have laughed with us, supported us, and made life a whole lot more fun. Each of them has played a special role in our story, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without them.

Brian is a longtime friend from the fire service and owner of Back to Basics Fire Training, but he’s a man of many talents: a drummer, Reiki healer, live music lover, lawn enthusiast, and fan of a good glass (or bottle) of rosé. He keeps everyone laughing and genuinely cares about the people around him. We’re so happy to have him officiating our day.

Hope is the daughter of our best friends and is taking her flower girl duties very seriously. She’s sweet, spunky, and full of personality. Whether she’s practicing karate or talking about K-Pop Demon Hunters, she always keeps us smiling (and on our toes).

Brooke is Megan’s best friend and partner-in-chaos. She’s been by her side through every high, low, and laugh in between. We couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Katerina is DJ’s sister-in-law and one of the most genuine, down-to-earth people we know. She keeps it real, makes us laugh, and is an amazing mom to Joey and Gabby.

AJ was Megan’s paramedic partner back in their Armstrong Ambulance days, and somewhere along the way he and DJ became inseparable. He’s hilarious, dependable, and one of DJ’s closest friends, the perfect best man for the job.

Alex is DJ’s brother and proud dad to Joey and Gabby, two of our favorite little humans. He’s family-oriented, steady, and the kind of guy you can always count on.

Kyle is DJ’s brother and brings his laid-back sense of humor and quick one-liners wherever he goes. He’s always up for a good time and keeps everyone in great spirits.

Getting to the Venue

A trolley shuttle will be available to take guests from the hotel to the ceremony on Saturday. It’ll leave at 4:15 p.m. sharp so everyone arrives on time and without stress. Return trips will run throughout the evening, so you can relax and enjoy the night without worrying about driving.

Flying In?

The easiest airport is T.F. Green (PVD)- it’s only 10 minutes from the hotel.Boston Logan (BOS) is another option if you’re coming from farther away, about 1 hour and 15 minutes north.

If the Crowne Plaza isn’t the right fit, no worries- Warwick has plenty of nearby hotel options at different price points. Feel free to stay wherever makes the most sense for your plans. We just want you here, however that looks!

If you're turning the weekend into a mini-getaway (and we hope you are!), here are a few local spots we love:• Downtown East Greenwich – Cute shops, cozy cafés, and waterfront restaurants perfect for a stroll or low-key lunch.• Warwick City Park – A quiet spot with walking trails, picnic areas, and a little beach.• Garden City Center – An outdoor shopping plaza with boutiques, bigger stores, and plenty of food options.• Newport Creamery (for coffee milk!) – A Rhode Island classic and DJ’s personal favorite.• Iggy’s Boardwalk – Clam cakes, chowder, and ice cream by the beach. Casual and perfect.• Newport, RI – Just 40 minutes away if you’re up for a scenic drive. Think cliff walks, lighthouses, and coastal charm.

Dear Friends and Family,

We’re so excited to celebrate our big day with you! After more than seven years of building a home together, we’re lucky to already have the household things we need. Because of that, we’ve chosen not to register for traditional gifts. If you’d like to give a gift, we would be so grateful for a contribution toward our honeymoon fund. We’ll be heading to Aruba for our honeymoon and staying at the new Secrets all-inclusive resort at Baby Beach. We’re so excited for a mix of relaxing and a little adventure, from beach days and spa time to a catamaran excursion (DJ’s one request 😊), snorkeling, and a few really special dinners together.
